Lost Sundays is a creative studio. Studio is a great umbrella for many things that flow through the start of an idea to the maintenence to the execution and refinement with an artful touch.

We work at the intersection of creative direction, strategic thinking, editorial vision, creative ideation, craft and where the systems that bring that all together come alive. From early vision to work already in motion.

We are here to shape ideas into forms that can hold their meaning and feeling.

Where ideas take shape

The FOunder

Maria Piessis is where vision meets execution and play meets work.

My background spans 15+ years in brand direction, creative strategy, editorial work, campaigns, and systems-building across fashion, tech, media, hospitality, and more.

I created Lost Sundays to unify all the things I love about giving shape to ideas and connecting with people and their creativity, to think super big but know how to deliver quality and realistically bring things to life. My production brain and creative brain are one.

Depending on the project, I either work solo, with a designer or I partner with creative leaders, writers, artists, and top-tier collaborators to translate your ideas and feelings into deliverables and frameworks that elevate creative, strategic, and visual direction.

My background is a big mix, which gives me quite a few lenses to see the world through - I was born in Russia, later grew up in the mountains of Colorado, lived in and worked NYC and Paris for years and now I live near Geneva with my family, am close to nature and the international airport, I work globally, and am still almost always on New York time : )
